SOCCER AID FOR UNICEF 2025
RAISES £15,280,163

Soccer Aid for UNICEF 2025, broadcast live on ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player, has raised an incredible £15,280,163 for UNICEF’s work around the world – supporting children to grow up safe, healthy and able to play.

This year’s fundraising total means Soccer Aid for UNICEF has now raised over £121 million since the first match in 2006. Every donation this year – up to £5 million – was doubled thanks to the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation.

Ahead of kick-off at the sold-out Old Trafford stadium, Sam Thompson completed the final stage of his Match Ball Mission. He delivered the ball onto the pitch to an audience of over 70,000 fans as the final fundraising total of £2,075,564 for his epic challenge was revealed.

After a hotly contested match the final score was 5-4 to the Soccer Aid World XI, who stole the win back with a late winner from Big Zuu. The World XI keep the overall lead with 8-6 wins against England since the inaugural 2006 match.

The money raised from this year’s fundraising total could help UNICEF provide safe spaces for children in times of crisis, vital vaccinations and nutrition support, and the opportunity to learn. And it could do so much more to protect play for every child.

WHAT IS SOCCER AID FOR UNICEF?

Created by Robbie Williams in 2006, Soccer Aid for UNICEF brings the nation together behind a common goal: to protect play for every child. On 15 June England and the Soccer Aid World XI FC will once again go head-to-head, in the world’s biggest celebrity football match. Cheered on by passionate fans at Old Trafford and broadcast live on ITV1, ITVX and STV, Soccer Aid for UNICEF harnesses the power of football to support children around the world to grow up safe, healthy and able to play.

PROTECTING PLAY FOR EVERY CHILD

Building castles. Dressing up. Kickabouts with friends. For a child, life should be all about play.

It’s more than just fun and games. Play is how children learn, explore and build relationships. It creates a world that’s fizzing with imagination and possibility. It gives us some of our happiest memories.

But it’s hard for children to play when they’re living in a conflict zone, sick from hunger, fighting disease, or left homeless by disaster.

But your support can help change that.

Soccer Aid for UNICEF is bringing millions of us together with one goal: for children to grow up safe, healthy and able to play.

When you buy tickets or watch the live show and donate, you’re part of one big team, supporting UNICEF’s vital work with families, communities and trusted organisations to create and protect safe spaces for children to play.

They money raised helps UNICEF deliver vital programmes which provides therapeutic food, healthcare, safe spaces and crisis support around the world, all helping children grow up safe, healthy and able to play.
